I'm Justin – a Filipino-American designer based in San Diego, CA. I have a multidisciplinary background, with experience in product design, graphic design, UX design, content design, and more.
I've always been passionate about designing and making content with real people in mind, whether it's for entertainment, everyday utility, or unique experiences. My work has impacted esports, children's programming, college campuses, and more.
I got my Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts at UC San Diego, where I was awarded the Teal Award of Outstanding Graduating Senior. I most recently got my Master's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction & Design at UC Irvine.
In a previous life…
I competed in Super Smash Bros. tournaments, at some point being ranked #5 at my university
I've been featured in two contemporary art galleries, and even curated one of them
I've worked with multiple YouTube channels in design and management, and helped 3 channels grow to 100k+ subs
I helped published a book containing essays on speculative design projects that reflected climate change
I briefly had background acting phase, with the most notable show I've done being The Idol on HBO
In my free time, I collect vinyl records, travel to different local art galleries, and watch Survivor (which I hope to be on one day)!
