The Good Anthropocene
Layout Design, Editing & Proofreading // June 2018
This book is a collection of projects and research essays that were created by students in the visual arts & design course, "The Good Anthropocene," at the University of California, San Diego. Under faculty supervision, projects developed within this course aim to reflect the current geological state of our world. Students are encouraged to bring to light ideas and systems intended to combat humankind's dominance over the climate and environment, with an emphasis on sustainability and ecological thought.
This book catalogs the works of 12 artists - myself included - and the outcomes of their projects. Projects range from graphic design, smartphone apps, fashion design, architectural design, 3D modeling, and more.
Project done in collaboration with designer Jacqueline (Chia) Lee and supervised by professor Pinar Yoldas. Photography provided by Breana Janae.
