Geisel – Day to Night, 2019
Interactive Processing sketch
Geisel – Day to Night is an interactive computing art sketch coded in Processing. It is a minimalist depiction of my alma mater's signature landmark, the Geisel Library, formed by basic shapes and flat colors. The file allows you to shift the time from day to night by moving your cursor across the sketch, which in turn shifts the moon, changes the colors of the scenery, and reveals the blinking stars across the sky.

This piece pays tribute to the university I attended, using a programming language and skill I had learned throughout my time there. It mends together my simple love for minimalism and interactive code.
